In line with C-SAP, Centre for Cellular and Molecular Platforms (C-CAMP) in association with Karnataka Biotechnology and Information Technology Services (KBITS) and Bangalore Bioinnovation Centre (BBC) has initiated a 1 year equity based mentorship and capacity building program for startups based out of Karnataka, the Karnataka Startup Advancement Program (K-SAP) BIO 50 .
- To meaningfully engage and work closely with Karnataka startups to enhance their odds of success.
- To enable startups achieve faster traction in their key milestones.
KBITS: Karnataka Biotechnology and Information Technology Services (KBITS) is a society registered under Karnataka Societies Registration. This organization helps the Department of Information Technology and Biotechnology in facilitating and promoting the Information Technology and Biotech sectors in the state by organizing as well as participating in Road shows, Trade shows, Conferences, Symposia, Seminars held at National and International levels. It is also a state level single window agency for clearance of Information Technology and Biotechnology projects in the state.
BBC: The Bangalore Bioinnovation Centre (BBC) is an initiative of Karnataka Biotechnology and Information Technology Services (KBITS), Dept of IT, BT and S&T, Government of Karnataka with a liberal funding support from Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Government of India. This incubation facility initiated to cater to the needs of Startup in broad areas of life sciences.
C-CAMP: Centre for Cellular and Molecular Platforms is a Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Government of India initiative to provide platforms for technology development and nurture innovations in the area of life sciences. C-CAMP is also India’s largest incubator and member of the Bangalore Life Sciences Cluster (BLiSC) with a mandate to enable cutting-edge life science research and innovation and promote life science entrepreneurship.
