The Office of Technology Transfer (OTT) at C-CAMP is pleased to launch Funding Opportunity to Technologies for Patent filing Call for Applications under the NBM- BIRAC Mandate. The Funding Opportunity will benefit the Individual Inventors, Start-ups and Institutions to have access to premium Indian and PCT Patent drafting, filing and advisory services at a nominal fee of ₹22,000 - ₹49,500.

objectives OBJECTIVES:

To provide Funding to protect worthy and deserving Technologies and secure IP for selected Technologies. OTT at C-CAMP understands the importance of securing IP at the right time and that access to premium IP services could be expensive. Hence, OTT is providing the finest IP Services to the selected Technologies at nominal Fees to ensure that deserving Technologies are secured without much monetary woes.

key features KEY FEATURES:

For deserving Applicants, OTT will provide access to experienced IP Professionals, advice, Patent drafting and filing services- all for a nominal fee of ₹22,000/- for Indian filing and ₹29,000/- for Indian Complete filing.

 

Indian Application: 

⦁    Provisional Specification Drafting & Filing - Provisional application- Drafting and filing along with necessary forms such as Form 1, Form 2 and Form 26 – (Provisional fee) Rs. 22,000.00

⦁    Complete Specification Drafting & Filing - Drafting and filing the Complete application along with filing Power of Attorney, reporting Publication and filing of statutory forms necessary within 6 months of filing CS in the first instant and attending to procedural formalities – (Professional Fee) Rs. 29,000.00 

For Indian Filing the above fees includes:
  • (a) Statutory Filing Fees of ₹1,600 for a natural entity, start-up and educational institution
  • (b) OTT Professional Fees of ₹35,000 – ₹50,000 for drafting and filing
  • (c) Access to multiple inventor meetings
  • (d) Access to experienced professionals for handholding and support

PCT Application:

PCT Application Drafting & Filing – Includes reviewing IDF, multiple inventor meetings, drafting the specification preparing and towards preparing and filing of PCT application documents with India as the ISA.

&

Includes submission of priority documents to WIPO and other PCT formalities – Rs. 49,500.00 only for drafting and filing.

For PCT Filing the above fees includes:
  • (a) Statutory Filing Fees of up to Rs. 1,50,000 for natural entity, start-up and educational institution
  • (b) OTT Professional Fees of ₹50,000 for drafting and filing
  • (c) Access to multiple inventor meetings
  • (d) Access to experienced professionals for handholding and support

  2. DIPP/DPIIT Registered Start-ups
  3. Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises with valid Udyog Aadhaar Certificate
  4. Academic Institutions

Last Date for Submission: 7th September 2024.
Announcement of Selected Technologies for filing: To be announced after review of the application.

  1. DIPP/DPIIT Certificate.
  2. MSME Udhyog Aadhaar Registration Certificate.
  3. Document Certifying the status of Educational Institution.
  4. Completed Invention Disclosure Form.
  5. Brief Write-up or presentation about the Invention along with Applicant details.

Note:

  1. The funding opportunity is open for Individual Inventors, Startups, Small Entity across India.
  2. The selected Academic Institutions should have an executed MoU with OTT, CCAMP or must be willing to execute the same.
  3. For Indian Filing and PCT, the cost is for Specification of 30 Pages and 10 Claims, exclusive of any Nucleotide/amino acid sequences.
  4. For PCT Applications, Searching Authority will be India.
