Aishwarya Bhat is an IP lawyer, with a post graduate LL.B. (Hons.) degree specializing in Intellectual Property Rights, from Rajiv Gandhi School of Intellectual Property law, IIT Kharagpur. She holds a Bachelors of Engineering degree in Biotechnology.  She worked as a Junior Research Fellow in the department of Biochemistry, IISc. Bangalore. She was a judicial intern in the chambers of Justice Thiru N Anand Venkatesh, Honorable Judge of the Madras High Court, where she dealt and assisted with judgement drafting related to trademark, design, patent and other corporate litigations. She is a registered patent agent and has worked on various projects for clients in the domains of computer science, telecommunications, dental devices, neutraceuticals, as well as their prosecution and litigation.

Her forte lies in Engineering and Applied Life Science inventions, such as biotechnology, microbiology, molecular biology, medical diagnostics, therapeutics, and nanotechnology, genomics, proteomics and bioinformatics and other fields of engineering. She is currently also pursuing her Masters in Law specializing in Intellectual Property, from Texas A & M University and was recommended by Justice Venkatesh for the same.
