Agri Immersion Program
One of the main mandates of this program was the identification of key sectors/gaps in agriculture through an Immersion program. The main aims of the program were as follows:
o Immersion program with 4 selected candidates who have an innovation and entrepreneurial mind set to understand the problems that exist on the ground
o Identification and prioritization of 100 key areas that are unaddressed and would have commercialization potential.
The Immersion Program was conducted as a six-month program where the selected candidates spent time with farmers and other stakeholders in Agriculture to identify problems in Indian Agriculture.
The problems identified in this program will be addressed through the Agriculture Grand Challenge.
