With a portfolio of over 500+ deep-tech startups and a pan-India network of more than 3,000 stakeholders, C-CAMP serves as the launchpad for many India pioneering deep-science ventures.
Scope: India's thriving innovation ecosystem presents an incredible opportunity to transform healthcare. The Innovations Program for Surgical Intervention Technology and Medical Technology invites startups at the forefront of innovation to address critical healthcare challenges and drive advancements in medical technologies.

The objective of this programme is to drive groundbreaking innovations in deep-science and digitally enabled medical technologies. By fostering cutting-edge advancements, the programme aims to create transformative solutions that address critical healthcare challenges. These solutions are designed to not only improve medical practices and patient outcomes but also to deliver impactful societal benefits, ultimately contributing to accessible, efficient, and future-ready healthcare systems.

- Incubation: A comprehensive support system to help startups grow and thrive. This includes access to co-working spaces, resources, and tools required to nurture innovative ideas and translate them into tangible products or services.
- Mentorship: Expert guidance from industry leaders, seasoned entrepreneurs, and domain specialists to help startups navigate challenges, refine their strategies, and accelerate their growth. Tailored mentorship ensures alignment with business goals and technological advancements.
- Networking and Visibility: Opportunities to connect with key stakeholders, including investors, clinical & global. Workshops and events are designed to provide startups with a platform to showcase their innovations and gain visibility within the ecosystem.
- Access to Tech Platforms and Facilities: State-of-the-art technology platforms and world-class facilities are made available to help startups test, validate, and scale their innovations. This includes access to cutting-edge research equipment and technical expertise to ensure high-quality development.
- IP and Tech Transfer Support: Assistance with protecting intellectual property, including patent filing and licensing. Startups are also supported in transferring their technologies to relevant industries or stakeholders, ensuring the seamless transition of innovations from lab to market.
Eligibility:
- Indian Start-ups (registered under Companies Act, 2013 as a private limited company), having at least 51% shareholders as Indian Citizens (does not include OCI or PIO) as the mandatory requirement.
- Applicants must be Indian citizens (does not include OCI or PIO).
- Start-ups must be working in deep tech digital health, digital life sciences related domains.
Selection Criteria:
- The start-up should be working towards innovative technology/technologies and should be product-oriented (not service oriented).
- The technology should be novel & should already have an IP or have the potential for generation of IP.
- The technology should fulfil an unmet need and have an impact.
- The start-ups should have a competent team in both technical & business aspects.
- The technology should have a sound commercialization strategy and road map to the market.
- The start-ups should have a clear understanding of the end-user/customer, policy environment, and market size.
- The start-up should have a sound business plan and company vision.
