Two New Research Greenhouse Facilities

Two new greenhouse facilities have been added at C-CAMP. With about 2,200 sq.ft. in area, the resource permits startups working in the Agriculture sector to conduct large- scale experiments. The facilities are climate-controlled and are able to closely replicate plants’ natural growing environments by manipulating parameters such as heating, cooling, growth light and humidity. They are also state-of-the-art facilities to study plant and soil responses to changing environmental conditions. Greenhouses could be used to conduct wide range of experiments to understand crop physiology, biological efficacy testing and special study designs to identify the optimal effect of new crop formulations prior to testing in open-field conditions. Users can mimic a variety of conditions.
